As you all know, times are tough right now and the economy is making it very difficult for many people in our Ward to find jobs. As members of the Church, it is our responsibility to help each other in times of need. So, with that in mind, please help each other out by letting us know about job opportunities, career training, and other resources that you find out about. Lets share that wealth of knowledge that we have with each other!

Any info you send us we will post on the blog for everyone to benefit from. Every once in a while you may even get a nice surprise at Church for participating in the blog!

There is a "Contact Me" link at the top of the blog where you can send us any info you have. You can also use it to contact us if you need us to point you in the right direction during your job search.

If you have a skill or knowledge in an area that could help other members of our ward, we would also like to know about that. If you are good at computers, resumes, have experience with hiring, or anything else that may help someone in the ward, please let us know if you are willing to help (we promise that we won't publish your contact info without your permission)! In fact, while you are here, send us some of that info on the form below!

And last but not least, please spread the word to other members of our ward about this blog. Bring it up in your Home and Visiting Teaching. When you are here, make a comment! We want to know what you think and how we can help each other! As you participate in helping other members of the ward, you will find that your life is enriched and you will also be blessed!

I think it's great that our employment specialists are taking a new approach to this calling. I imagine it's very tough for some people to come forward and ask for help. This site breaks down that barrier and hopefully many ward members take advantage of all the information here.

I know my information was already posted but, again, if anyone needs help with resumes or interviewing, I'm more than happy to help. I consider myself a good interviewee and have been told so by employers. I've been hired for every job for which I've interviewed. I don't say that to toot my own horn but I hope our ward members realize the awesome talent this ward holds and they can take advantage of it.

Thanks for the props!

We sure appreciate your willingness to help everyone out as well! Hopefully, like you said, this blog can help break down that barrier. I know its tough for me to ask for help as well so we're hoping that this way we can reach everyone.

Thanks again!
